Start with the toy switched off so they can sniff and investigate. Keep the first play session short and let them choose when to approach.
Use a clear, level surface. Thick rugs, tassels and floor clutter may slow or catch the toy; movement varies with the surface.
Stay nearby during play, especially with the rope attached. Inspect the tail before each session and put the toy away when play is over.
It can roll into tight spaces. Block gaps beneath low furniture and keep cables, tassels and small objects out of its path. Turn it off before freeing the ball or tail.
The motor and ball make some sound, especially on hard floors. We do not promise silent play. Try it in a clear area away from a call or sleeping person.
